Banks Of The Trinity Track Listing:
Music critics have already claimed, ‘Cody Johnson has built his career on a simple principle: he doesn't record songs he doesn't believe in. That unwavering authenticity has become his calling card star.’
‘Banks of the Trinity serves up another round of more of the same: polished variations on the “three chords and the truth” formula that has always defined genuine country, stories of hard work and heartaches and tall tales told from a barstool, all delivered with an authenticity that only comes from lived experience.’
‘His most personal album yet.’
‘It is an album about memory, marriage, faith, fatherhood, resilience, masculinity, mortality and identity.’
‘It feels like the work of an artist operating at the absolute peak of his powers: confident enough to be vulnerable, successful enough to take risks and wise enough to know exactly who he is.’
‘What makes 'Banks of the Trinity' so impressive is its intentionality.’
Banks Of The Trinity follows five highly successful albums, Ain’t Nothin’ To It, Human The Double Album, Leather (2024 CMA Album of the Year), and Leather Deluxe. Since the first album launched in 2021, Cody has released five RIAA Platinum or Multiplatinum #1 singles, “’Til You Can’t,” “The Painter,” “Dirt Cheap,” “I’m Gonna Love You,” and “The Fall.” He is the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year and ACM & CMA Male Vocalist of the Year; he has 10+ billion global streams and 69 total career RIAA certifications. As a must-see entertainer, Cody sold more than 400,000 concert tickets in 2025. In 2026, he held the largest RODEOHOUSTON concert-only performance and the largest concert in NRG Stadium's history, with 80,203 tickets sold. A month later, he rocked his first headlining performance at Stagecoach and welcomed surprise guests Jay Buchanan of Rival Sons, Cody’s all-time favorite rock band, and Boyz II Men.
“Horseback,” Banks Of The Trinity’s debut radio single, praised by the media for its humorous take on a breakup theme, came charging out of the gate two weeks ago on country radio, giving Cody a career-best add day. Earlier this week, Cody debuted it for television audiences on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
