Texas native and multi-platinum selling artist Cody Johnson held the largest RODEOHOUSTON concert-only performance and the largest concert in the history of NRG Stadium last night. 80,203 tickets sold!
Cody is only the second performer (after George Strait) to play a concert-only event in RODEOHOUSTON's history. He's performed six times—2017-2019, 2022-2023, and 2025—plus a surprise appearance in 2024 with Jelly Roll.
Last night’s sold-out show featured surprise appearances by Carrie Underwood and Carin León.
The Houston show marks Cody’s seventh sold-out date out of all seven shows played so far on his “Cody Johnson Live 26” Tour. This morning, three concerts in Canada were added to the schedule: September 11, 17, and 19. These shows go on sale at 10 am local time on Friday, March 27.
